Dynamite Name Appearance of wrapper (* always equals grade number) Gemstone powder formula, number of possible grades (1 being full power, 6 being lowest power) Effects of detonation Radius and possible extra effects of grades History and other notes. Gemstones appear throughout the landscape in a wide variation of places, from sand to dense stone. Stones have different shapes, colors, and weights, but usually average about six inches in diameter. When ground up and mixed with dynamite, the magical properties of the gemstone override the explosive nature of dynamite with another effect. Different ratios of dynamite mix to gemstone dust often result in varied effects, usually being an increased effect radius of the dynamite. Most gemstones can be mixed into six sticks of dynamite before its effectiveness dies out. Mixing two gemstones always results in a dud stick of dynamite. Under no Dynamite Red wrapper, older sticks may be unmarked, newer sticks marked "STANDARD" or "UNMIXED" Basic dynamite without a gemstone mix. Percussive detonation, blast radius of approximately three feet. First Detonation: The King. Flame Dynamite Red, rough gemstone Red wrapper, marked with "FLAME *" six grades. Detonation has very little percussive force, but sprays out a blanket of fire in a radius depending on the gemstone mix. Grade 6 - 3 feet, Grade 5: 4 1/2 feet, Grade 4: 6 feet, Grade 3: 8 feet, Grade 2: 12 feet, Grade 1: 16 feet. First Detonation: Charles Gavier. Detonation of all grades is banned in forest areas, grades 1-5 banned in grassland areas. Grade 6 legal in towns for domestic use. Shadow Dynamite Gray, rough gemstone Gray wrapper, marked "SHADOW *" four grades. Detonation has no percussive force. creates a dome of pure darkness. light shone through or inside dome will have no effect. Grade 4 - 8 feet, Grade 3 - ~72 feet, Grade 2 - ~250 feet, Grade 1 - ~600 feet First Detonation: Charles Gavier. Detonation of grade 4 is legal in towns, if kept clear of roads and sidewalks. Gauss Dynamite Blue gemstone with yellow veins, smooth Yellow wrapper, marked "GAUSS" 1 grade. Detonation has little percussive force. Creates large field of static electricity, varies from approx. 10 feet to 100 feet. First Detonation: Taint Bigsby. Use is banned in cities. Detonation near airstrips will result in punishment of 5 years in prison. Growth Dynamite Porous green gemstone Green Wrapper, marked "GROWTH *" marking often covered with plant growth, scrape lightly to remove. 3 grades. Detonation has no percussive force. Rapidly accellerates growth of plant life in 6 foot radius. Grade 3 - growth of small plants and weeds, Grade 2 - Vines and ivys climb up nearby surfaces, Grade 1 - Full growth of trees from seeds, small plants growing to exaggerated sizes, chance of wild mutations. Radius will extend beyond 6 feet. First detonation: Charles Gavier. Detonation of grade 1 is not reccomended in any situation. Water Dynamite Flakey blue gemstone Blue wrapper, marked "WATER *" older sticks may be soggy and marking may have washed away. 4 grades Detonation creates a geyser of water. Grade 4 - slight trickle amounting to approximately 1 gallon, Grade 3 - stream amounting to approximately 6 gallons, grade 2 - geyser of about 4-5 feet in height, estimated 50 gallons of water. Grade 1 - 20 foot geyser of untrackable voloume. First Detonation: David Gavier. Grades 1 and 2 banned in cities except in emergency situations and controlled environments with permit. Storing with other types of dynamite is not reccomended. Vanish Dynamite Flat, colorless gemstone in disk shape White Wrapper, marked "VANISH *". grades unknown. Detonation will cause objects in radius to vanish without trace for a period of time. Lack of research on this type due to shortage of appropriate gemstones. First Detonation: Taint Bigsby. Gavier Bros Dynamite Co. will offer exchange for colorless gemstones resembling a disk. When research is complete on this type, you will be given sticks equal to half of each stone's output, or twice the amount of any fully researched type of dynamite, supplies permitting. Buster Dynamite Bright red wrapper with yellow caps, marked with "BUSTER". DETONATION OF THIS DYNAMITE IN ANY LOCATION IS PUNISHABLE BY A MINIMUM OF 10 YEARS IN PRISON. IF YOU FIND THIS DYNAMITE, PLEASE INFORM THE LOCAL AUTHORITIES. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO TRANSPORT YOURSELF. DO NOT ALLOW TAINT BIGSBY TO KNOW YOU HAVE FOUND THIS DYNAMITE. First Detonation: Taint Bigsby. Gravity Dynamite Spherical stone with black diamond in center White wrapper, marked "GRAVITY". one grade. Detonation has two effects, gravitational pull increasing towards point of detonation, or reduction of gravity in area of 20 feet. Research on this type is incomplete. First Detonation: David Gavier. Gavier Bros Dynamite Co. will offer exchange for clear spherical gemstones with black diamond in center. Detonation is not reccomended. "Odd" Dynamite cubic gemstone with varying colors. White wrapper, marked with warning label. Detonation has provided inconsistent results. Most common effect is a blanket of thick foam coating an eight foot radius, other common effects include spontaneous generation of mice, attracting flocks of screaming crows, color distortion in blast radius, foul odor, and effects similar to grade 2 growth dynamite. First Detonation: Taint Bigsby. Gavier Bros Dynamite Co. will offer exchange for cube-shaped gemstones with splotchy, random colors. Detonation is not reccomended. Frost Dynamite transparent blue cylindrical stone blue wrapper marked "FROST *" six grades. Detonation has no percussive force, but freezes everything within its radius with a thick layer of frost. Grades 6-4: 8 foot, 12 foot, and 24 foot radius. Grades 3-1: produces solid block of ice, 4, 7 and 12 feet long and wide in most cases. First Detonation: Charles Gavier Web Dynamite rough, cloudy white stone white wrapper marked "WEB *", 4 grades Detonation has low percussive force, spreads an area of spiderweb-like material that traps creatures inside it. There is a chance of the material fusing into hard rubbery clumps, flying out of the detonation at high speeds in random directions. Grade 4 - webbing spreads to 3 feet, with chance of clumping. Grade 3 - 6 feet of webbing, low chance of clumping. Grade 2 - 9 feet of webbing, with partial clumping. Grade 1 - 15 feet of webbing, chance of partial clumping, very low chance of forming one solid ball. First detonation: David Gavier Magno Dynamite dark gray metallic diamond white wrapper, marked "MAGNO". 1 grade. detonation will magnetize the nearest object larger than the dynamite. If two objects are magnetized with two sticks, the smaller object will be pulled towards the larger one. First detonation: David Gavier. Spectral Dynamite almost invisible stone, save for thin blue whispy patterns on its edges. White wrapper, marked "SPECTRAL". 3 grades. No physical detonation, wrapper simply falls apart with nothing inside. Any sentient being caught in the grade-3 blast radius will have its ghost blown out of its physical body, which will fall into a coma until its ghost returns to its body. The ghost is fully concious, and can explore the surrounding area without physically interacting with it. Grades 2 and 1 will cause spiritual damage as well as the effects of grade 3, and its production has been outlawed. First detonation: Taint Bigsby
